Although you may carry a balance on your credit cards and are not able to pay the balance in full, there are a few other things you can do to keep the balances from growing.

Avoid carrying extra cash or credit cards. Carrying extra cash and/or your credit cards may cause you to make an impulse purchase. In the long run, impulse purchasing will rob you of the things you really want.
