Step 1 - Your personal Credit Consultant will...
Your personal Credit Consultant will be available to you throughout the transition to the Debt Management Plan and will guide you at every point. There is always time for any new questions and answers to your concerns if they arise.
Step 2 - When you decide to move ahead...
As part of choosing a Debt Plan, a workable monthly payment will be agreed on that will be substantially less than all your existing unsecured debt payments, but, now within your realistic ability to pay. The new consolidated Debt Plan payment will be enough to repay your debts in full within five years or less, and cover any costs of the program. Full details will be discussed with you.
Step 3 - Next, we will agree on a date for you...
Next, we will agree on a date for you to provide the completed documentation, creditor statements and your initial payment. This is usually several weeks to a month in the future to ease some the pressure on your finances before you get started.
Step 4 - As part of the transition to the Debt Plan...
As part of the transition to the Debt Plan, we will advise you on managing your existing monthly debt payments and provide instructions on responding to any collection calls from your creditors.
Step 5 - A Debt Plan start up package...
A Debt Plan start up package with simple instructions and the required documentation will then be forwarded to you by email or regular mail.
Step 6 - Your personal Credit Consultant will stay...
Your personal Credit Consultant will stay in contact with you throughout this period until the Debt Plan is underway and will be available for any advice required, or direct involvement in dealing with your creditors who may be calling you.
Step 7 - Once we have the Debt Plan...
Once we have the start up package completed and returned to us, we will prepare and forward the formal Debt Plan to the creditors. After this point we will manage all aspects of the approval from creditors, along with the debts and monthly payments. Any collection calls will end soon after.
Step 8 - Once the Debt Plan is underway...
Once the Debt Plan is in place your responsibilities will be to maintain the new monthly payment and keep us informed of any changes in your needs or financial situation.  At the conclusion of the plan in 4 ½ to 5 years, you will be Debt Free!
